Face ID Tag-On repair flex compatible with iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, designed for micro-repair work on the TrueDepth assembly in cases of Dot Projector failure. This Tag-On solution helps preserve the original components and correct communication-related errors without direct work on the Dot Matrix chip solder balls. It operates by intercepting and correcting I2C bus data and requires the Clone-DZ03 programmer to read and pair encrypted data between the logic board and the biometric sensor. Built on a flexible FPC substrate with increased thermal resistance and low-impedance connectors, the flex is designed to fit the limited internal space of the iPhone 12 series. It connects in parallel with the original flex for a faster and lower-risk workshop operation. Important: before installation, a Read operation must be performed on the original flex to save the customer's unique data. When folding the flex for final installation, avoid sharp bends in the tracks. This flex cannot restore Face ID if the prism is cracked or the infrared camera is damaged, as it only acts on the logical and electrical side of the dot projector.
