This Tag-On intermediate flex is installed between the motherboard FPC connector and the front camera module to maintain the transfer of encrypted metadata between the motherboard and the image sensor.

Built on a high-conductivity multilayer FPC substrate, it integrates a programmable EEPROM chip. The precision FPC connectors with anti-corrosion plating help ensure electrical stability and minimal contact resistance.

Its ultra-thin profile allows proper positioning under the TrueDepth metal shielding without adding mechanical pressure on the connectors.

It can be used in repairs targeting issues such as blocked autofocus, no image in selfie mode, or signal desynchronization during Cinematic or Portrait capture.

Programming with a dedicated box compatible with the iPhone 16 series is required. Power is supplied passively through the I2C bus and motherboard FPC connector.
